The best we've tried!

My son was born with a benign hamartoma on his left retina that our optometrist caught super early at age 4. Since these are formative vision years, we patch in an attempt to prevent loss of vision in that eye for about 2 hours, 5 days a week. Over the years we have tried almost every adhesive brand there is, and several other slip over the glasses type patches. This astropic 3D patch knocks them all out of the park. I work at a vision center and will be recommending this to all our future patients who need to patch. Thank you Astropic!!

Such a great idea!!

My 3 year old was diagnosed with strabismus and we need him to wear his eye patch for 1-2 hours a day. We started with the stickers that th doctor gave us but those scared him and caused horrible screaming fits. We switched to a reusable eye patch (like a pirate) but those kept moving and falling down and was really annoying because I had to sit with him the whole time adjusting the eye patch for him. Enter these... Genius!! They work great and are no tears no stress. My son even enjoys eye patch time now.

If your child was scared of the adhesive ones THIS IS FOR YOU!

So my toddler needed an eye cover to help with his astigmatism and when we went to the doc she placed one of those sticky adhesive ones over his eye. When we went to take it off it literally ripped his eye brows out and he was soooo TRAMATIZED! He wouldn't wear the eye patch and every single time we spoke of it he broke down and started crying.Hubby and I googled what would be best and came upon this product. HE LOVES IT! It is super soft and covers his entire eye. He goes to daycare and we were afraid that the little kids would question and make fun of his eye patch but they thought he was SOOO COOL! Due to the robert design on there. We are sooo happy we found this!

Well made and works as it should.

This Astropic 3D Cotton & Silk Eye Patch for Kids is actually thick and sturdy, and I like that it's reversible. It works well for its intended use, and slips on over glasses fairly easily. It looks bulky and obtrusive, but it really isn't - and it works well if you need to give one eye a rest or want to strengthen the opposite eye. It gets two thumbs up from me!
